1. USE
1.1 Persons who use Storietyd website for any reason, subject themselves to and accept the terms and conditions of Storietyd, as outlined below.

1.2 The purpose of this site is to provide the user with information about Storietyd and the products/services offered.

1.3 Without deviating from the above, Storietyd gives the user consent to view the contents of the website, either in part or in whole, to copy, download to a local drive, print or spread, on the assumption that:

1.3.1 The content is used for information and / or non-commercial purposes; and

1.3.2 Any reproduction of the contents of this website, or portion thereof, must include the following copyright notice: © Storietyd 2016. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

1.4 Users who want to use content from this site for commercial purposes, may do so only with the written consent that must be obtained  in advance from Storietyd.

2 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
2.1 All content, trademarks and data on this website, software, databases, text, graphics, icons, hyperlinks, including private information, and design, but are not limited to, are owned by or licensed to Storietyd, and as so from infringement and violation protected by local and international laws and agreements. Subject to the rights granted to the user within the above legislation, all other rights are expressly reserved to all intellectual property on this site.

3. STORIETYD CLUB MEMBERSHIP
3.1 The member receives 2 (two) books each quarter as chosen by experts. The member can exercise a choice on our website about what books he / she wants to receive, where applicable. If no choice is made the member will receive the choice as made by Storietyd.

3.2 The member must remain a member of Storietyd for at least 2 (two) years. After that initial period, the membership may be cancelled after a full term's notice in writing by the member to Storietyd.

4 COSTS
The total cost is R 125 per member ages 0 - 12 and R 160 ages 13 - 18 (subscription / child) per month. The price will be reviewed annually. Members will be given notice of such a price increase which will be based will be on the current Consumer Price Index (CPI) as published by Statistics South Africa.
If you have received books before you have paid for three months, then the money will be payable in full before you leave the club.
This fee applies to members who received parcels by ordinary mail in South Africa.
International members will be treated individually and will vary from country to country. If you want to find out about this option, please contact us at kontak@storietyd.co.za.

5 POSTAGE FEES AND DELIVERY
Delivery is R 30 per family per month and all parcels will be send via Fastway Couriers for metro areas and via The Courier Guy Pudo for Rural areas/Special delivery areas.
International postage is not included.  Contact us for a quote.

6 PAYMENT METHODS
6.1 South African members can only pay by a monthly debit order.
This debit order form is provided with registration. It must be completed and returned to Storietyd as per instructions on the form.
6.2 If your debit order is returned by your bank you will incur a R25 penalty fee. We reserve the right to add these incurred costs to your next debit order if you do not pay the arrears.
6.3 International members will be treated individually and we will quote them on an individual basis.

7 PRIVACY POLICY
7.1 Storietyd protect the privacy of the user:

7.2 No personal information will be given to third parties without permission of the user.

7.3 Storietyd will hold the following private and personal information:

7.4 Information voluntarily provided by the user - this information is used to provide a better service to users;

7.5 Information automatically provided (eg. "Cookies") - this information is collected to improve your browsing experience and interaction on Storietyd's website. "Cookies" can not transfer damage or viruses your computer; and

7.6 By using the website, the user consents to the following:
7.6.1 Storietyd may use your personal information to periodically interact with the user. Users may indicate if they do not wish to receive such correspondence; and
7.6.2 Storietyd may use the user's information for non-personal statistical purposes.
7.6.3 Storietyd reserves the right to copyright users' personal information in databases.

8 LIAISONS AND ESTIMATES
8.1 It is expressly prohibited for any person, business, entity or website to link any page (including the home page) on this website without Storietyd’s written prior consent and permission.

8.2 It is expressly prohibited for any person, business, entity or website to frame any page (including the homepage) of this website in any way without Storietyd’s written prior consent.

9 AGREEMENTS IN TERMS OF SECTION 21 OF THE ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSACTIONS ACT
9.1 No information or data on this website is an offer, but only an invitation to do business.

9.2 No agreement will be signed by only sending a data message to this website or its owners. Valid agreements require an acknowledgment of receipt of this site.

10 SEARCH TECHNOLOGIES
10.1 The use of non-malicious search technology, such as "web crawlers" or "web spiders" to seek information and gain access are not allowed if such technology makes the site's Web server slow or infringes on the copyright of any data or information available on this site. Data and information may only be used in agreement with sections 5 and 8 of this document.

11 LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES
11.1 Storietyd provide links to the user only for the convenience of the user and the inclusion of any link does not imply that Storietyd provides support to those linked sites.

11.2 Websites or pages that are called are not subject to control by Storietyd. Storietyd will not be held responsible in a direct or indirect way, for content, use or inability to use any linked site or any links contained in the linked web site, or to gain access to it.

12 SECURITY OF INFORMATION
12.1 All possible measures will be taken to ensure that a user's information is safe.

12.2 Users undertake not to divulge their user name and passwords to any other person.

12.3 It is prohibited for any person, business, or unit unauthorized access to any pages of the site, or that attempts to download unauthorized, destructive or negative codes on the site. Any person attempting to gain unauthorized access in order to load destructive and negative codes on the site, or to gain unauthorized access to the site, will be held criminally liable. Where Storietyd suffer any loss or damage Storietyd will claim civil damages from the other party.

13 PROOF OF DISTANCE (“DISCLAIMER")
13.1 Subject to the provisions of sections 43 (5) and 43 (6) of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act: Storietyd is not responsible for any loss, damage or liability of any kind arising from the use or inability to use the website or the services or content on the site. Furthermore Storietyd make no representations or warranties, implicit or otherwise that the content and technology on this site, is faultless and without omissions or that the service will be 100% uninterrupted and flawless.

13.2 This website is a "offered as is" basis and has not been compiled to meet the user's individual requirements. It is therefore the responsibility of the user, before he enters into this agreement with Storietyd, to make sure that he / she is satisfied that the services offered are available at this website to his / her individual needs and his / her hardware and / or software.

13.3 Information, ideas and opinions expressed on the website should not be regarded as professional advice or the official opinion of Storietyd, and users are encouraged to seek professional advice before taking any actions based on the information, ideas and opinions of this site, proceed.

13.4 All items purchased from Storietyd, is subject to agreements that Storietyd has with shipping and delivery agents. The risk of lost items are transferred to these agents.

13.5 Not Storietyd, or any of its agents or representatives shall be held responsible for any damage, loss or liability of any kind arising from the use or inability to use any product sold on this website.

14 FIT FOR USE
14.1 These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the entire agreement between Storietyd and you, the user of this site. Any failure from Storietyd to practice or apply any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions of Use, shall under no circumstances waiver any right or provision.

14.2 In the event of an incident where any term or condition of use of this site is not fully enforceable or valid, such term (s) or condition (s) shall be severable from the remaining terms and conditions. The remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected by unenforceability or invalidity and shall continue to be feasible and valid.

15 CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS
15.1 Storietyd expressly reserves to the right, with sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to make changes and / or amendments to any criteria or information on this site.

15.2 Storietyd reserves the right without prior notice, to change the prices and tariffs on this website.

15.3 The user undertakes to regularly visit the Storietyd website and to familiarize themselves with the changes and / or changes to the information on the website.

16. DEBIT PAYMENT TERMS - DEBIT ORDERS & CREDIT CARDS

This signed Authority and Mandate refers to our contract as dated as on signature hereof ("the Agreement"). I / We hereby authorise you to issue and deliver payment instructions to the bank for collection against my / our abovementioned account at my / our above mentioned bank (or any other bank or branch to which I / We may transfer my / our account) on condition that the sum of such payment instructions will never exceed my / our obligations as agreed to in the Agreement, and commencing on the commencement date and continuing until this Authority and Mandate is terminated by me / us by giving you notice in writing of no less than 20 ordinary working days, and sent by prepaid registered post or delivered to your address indicated above.

The individual payment instructions so authorised to be issued must be issued and delivered as follows:

On the 1st, 15th, or 25th day (depending on your selection) ("payment day") of each and every month commencing on the commencement date above. In the event that the payment day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or recognized South African public holiday, the payment day will automatically be the very next ordinary business day. Further, if there are insufficient funds in the nominated account to meet the obligation, you are entitled to track my account and re-present the instruction for payment as soon as sufficient funds are available in my account;

On or after the dates when the obligation in terms of the Agreement is due and the amount of each individual payment instruction may not be more or less that the obligation due;

I / We understand that the withdrawals hereby authorised will be processed through a computerized system provided by the South African Banks and I also understand that details of each withdrawal will be printed on my bank statement. Each transaction will contain a number, which must be included in the said payment instruction and if provided to you should enable you to identify the Agreement. A payment reference is added to this form before the issuing of any payment instruction. I / We shall not be entitled to any refund of amounts which you have withdrawn while this authority was in force, if such amounts were legally owing to you.
